Sri Sujayeendra Teertha

Shri Sujayeendratheertha, previously known as Raja Venkataraghavendra Acharya, was initiated into sannyasa in 1963 by his guru, Shri Suyameendratheertha. For 23 years, he led the Peetha with unwavering dedication, guiding his disciples and upholding the principles of the Dvaita Vedanta tradition. On February 12, 1986, during Magha Shuddha Chaturthi, Shri Sujayeendratheertha entered Brindavana at the sacred site of Mantralaya, located on the banks of the Tungabhadra River in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. He was succeeded by Shri Sushameendratheertha, ensuring the continued legacy of the Peetha.
